Child Care

Early Childhood Education Makes a Difference!!

We strive to create an optimum environment for the success of our children and their families. One way we do this is to provide high quality care for the children of our San Jac students, staff, faculty, and administrators as well as local community members. Rest assured this is not daycare nor babysitting. Our facility at Central Campus is known as a Laboratory School where the focus is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment. Our lab school serves as a training ground for students from San Jacinto College and our surrounding communities to view a real-life experience with children. Students will learn through observations and hands-on experiences how children learn and develop as well as practice and apply theories learned in classes.

Our Lab School on Central Campus is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and a recognized Texas Rising Star provider. It is licensed by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and is in good standing with the state of Texas.

Your child will enjoy reading, art, music, language, science, math, dramatic play, construction, outdoor adventures, and much more. All of these are integral parts of an enriching early childhood education curriculum that is planned and provided by our highly qualified and outstanding teams. We endeavor to provide services that will enable students to pursue their educational goals and dreams and empower working adults to have peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment.

Our Lab School provides care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and follows the academic calendar of San Jacinto College.
