Mission

As a strategic partner with San Jacinto College’s leadership, the Human Resources team is accountable for developing and implementing a strategic human resources plan that supports the attainment of the vision, mission, and values of the college.

The primary function of the HR team is to develop and deliver a full range of human resources programs and services which leverage our most valuable asset – our employees.

We build human capital at the college by defining, designing, and developing human resources systems that result in:

• Attracting, retaining, and motivating our employees.
• Creating a culture that supports a high-performance workforce, enhances teamwork, and ensures fair and responsible outcomes for employees and the College.
• Developing the capacity of our employees, leaders, and teams.
