CPET is the largest petrochemical training facility -- 151,000-square-foot instructional complex with a separate Process Training Unit -- in the Gulf Coast Region built for industry, designed by industry.

The exterior 8,000-square-foot glycol distillation unit is used to teach process operations and develop troubleshooting skills for entry, advanced credit students, and incumbent workers. There is also a multi-functional glass pilot lab for training process systems, as well as conference, training, and assembly spaces designed to accommodate academic, community, and industrial functions. See below for details on the labs and facilities.
