ESOL 0362 Intermediate Oral Communication
Develops listening and speaking skills in speakers of languages other than English and prepares them to function in educational, vocational and/or personal English-speaking contexts. Students perfect pronunciation and increase listening comprehension.
Prerequisites and/or co-requisites: A grade of C or better in ESOL 0311 Introductory Listening & Speaking OR a minimum score on a standardized test of English language proficiency. (3:3-1)
ESOL 0363 Advanced Oral Communication

ESOL 0372 Intermediate Reading and Writing
Focuses on strategies and techniques of writing and composition and develops reading proficiency, vocabulary, and writing and grammar skills for academic, career, or personal purposes in speakers of languages other than English and prepares them to function in a multicultural and multilingual society.
Prerequisites and/or co-requisites: A grade of C or better in ESOL 0321 Introductory Reading or minimum score on a standardized test of English language proficiency. (3:3-0)
ESOL 0373 Advanced Reading and Writing
Focuses on strategies and techniques of writing and composition, and develops reading proficiency, vocabulary, and writing and grammar skills for academic, career, or personal purposes in speakers of languages other than English and prepares them to function in a multicultural and multilingual society.
Prerequisites and/or co-requisites: A grade of C or better in ESOL 0372 or minimum score on a standardized test of English language proficiency. (3:3-1)
ESOL 0382 Intermediate Grammar
This course focuses on Standard English grammar usage for academic and workplace purposes. Open only to nonnative speakers.
Prerequisites and/or co-requisites: A grade of C or better in ESOL 0331 Introductory Writing & Grammar OR minimum score on standardized test of English language proficiency. (3:3-1)
ESOL 0383 Intermediate Grammar
