Procedures

Under Texas Education Code (Section 54.365), a college may allow senior citizens 65 years of age or older (by the first day of classes of the specific enrollment term) to enroll in up to six credit hours per term without paying tuition, providing there is space available. The senior citizen must pay all applicable fees, including the general service and related lab fees or incidental fees.

Senior citizens may audit classes which is addressed in a separate policy and procedure.
