Long Term Care Administration

As the U.S. population ages, the need for quality long term care increases. Employment opportunities in this area are expected to grow at a faster rate than many other areas of business management. The Long Term Care Administration program at San Jacinto College is open to anyone who holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and wishes to take the state licensing exam offered through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS).


Advanced Technical Certificate

The LTCA program will develop the leadership and critical thinking skills students need to succeed in this unique business environment while also focusing on the practical aspects of long term care. This program includes the required coursework and internship hours to apply to take the licensing exam. Credit hours: 26.
