The Gulf Coast Workforce Board has listed Machinists and CNC Tool Operators on their High -skill, High Growth Occupations list. High skill jobs targeted by the Gulf Coast Workforce Board are those that offer the best employer opportunities for now and in the immediate future. A high school diploma and the following courses will prepare you to meet this demand for our region.
Partnerships have been formed with companies and staffing agencies that are looking for manual machinists and CNC machinists.
All courses are offered at the North campus in a face-to-face and blended format. Grant funding may be available to eligible students.
The first course in the program is Manual Machining and may be waived if student has sufficient prior experience.

- CNC Mill Complete: 8/23/2022-12/6/2022, TR 6:00pm - 9:00pm
- Intermediate Mill: 10/18/2022-12/6/2022, TR 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Manual Machining or industry experience is the prerequisite for the CNC courses.
