San Jacinto College offers flexible class schedules and instructional methods, from in-person to online anytime class modes, to meet your needs. The following are distance learning and online options.

Online: All course content is delivered through computers and multimedia using the San Jacinto College’s learning management system, Blackboard, and may include various media or publisher content; both synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods may be used as appropriate. No on-campus testing or activities are required; proctored exams may be required.

Online Anytime: Take your classes online, at any time! Our most flexible option allows you to work on coursework throughout each semester  week as your schedule allows.

Online on A Schedule:  If you like the structure of a routine, this option is for you! All coursework is completed online, but the lectures and virtual instruction happen at specific times on certain days, just like a typical face-to-face course.

Hands-On Hybrid: Content delivered through a combination of web-based and classroom activities. These courses use components of computer instruction using the San Jacinto College’s learning management system, Blackboard, in addition to multimedia activities and classroom time. On-campus classroom time is required.
