Free Tutoring
The Student Success Center offers free tutoring in courses offered by San Jacinto College. For a complete list of courses, along with dates and times tutoring is offered in specific subjects, please see the Subject Schedule.
Wi-fi/Computer Access
The Student Success Center has computers and wi-fi so that students can work on assignments and access online materials while receiving help from tutors. Laptops may also be checked out from the library's reference desk.

Fall & Spring
Mon-Thurs: 7:30 am - 8:45 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 2:45 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 1:45 pm
Sunday: 1 - 4:45 pm
Summer
Mon-Thurs: 8 am-8:45 pm
Fri: 8 am - 11:45 am
Sat: 10 am - 1:45 pm
Sun: Closed

Absolutely! You can request a visit to your class is by sending an email to Dawn Shedd, the Director. The visit will be set up at a time and date that is convenient for you.
Tutors will not help with take-home tests or graded homework without first receiving approval from the instructor. If a student comes to the center asking for help with these types of assignments, the director will contact the instructor before tutors will be able to work with the student.
If you would like to allow students to receive help on a homework assignment or take-home test, please call the director at ext. 1619 or send an email to dawn.shedd@sjcd.edu to confirm your approval.
If you do not want tutors to work with students on certain assignments, you can also notify the director and tutors will be advised that students cannot receive help.
