Women's History Month Volunteers Needed

In celebration of Women’s History Month, students and employees are invited to participate in one of three book clubs. San Jacinto College students are also invited to participate in an essay contest for scholarships. Funds have been provided by the San Jacinto College Foundation and may be applied to the Spring 2021 / Summer 2021 / Fall 2021 semesters. Please see the attached flyers.

Women's History Month

Greetings!

You and your students are invited to join us March 9th for a Women's History Month virtual event. The event will be held from 10:15-1:05 and have two sessions.

10:15- 11:45 Our History

Students will read historical and contemporary speeches from the women's movement.

11:50-1:05 Our Stories

Student storytellers will share their own narratives of how women's issues have impacted their lives.

Women's History Month Women in Careers

The Education, Equity & Excellence Department (E3) will be hosting a webinar on March 29th at 3pm, to celebrate Women’s History Month. Join us and listen to alumni share personal experiences about overcoming obstacles in pursuit of attaining their education and transitioning to the workforce.
